Rebecca Harrell on Prancer Movie
Rebecca Harrell played role as Jessica Riggs on Prancer movie. The 1989 fantasy film tells about a story of an 8-year-old girl who believed that the injured reindeer she found is one of Santa’s. She plays along with Sam Elliott and Cloris Leachman. The film was directed by John D. Hancock and filmed in northwestern Indiana, near LaPorte, and in Three Oaks, Michigan.
Jessica Riggs (Rebecca Harrell) finds a hurt reindeer who she believes to be Santa’s reindeer Prancer and then she nursing Prancer back to health. The two of them became friends. Unfortunately, her father doesn’t allow her to keep the reindeer on the barn and tried to sell Prancer to the media. After several emotional and physical struggles between her best friend, her family, and the town, manages to cure her beloved Prancer and set him free, where he is seen flying to the sky to rejoin the other seven deer of Santa’s sleigh on Christmas Eve.
Apparently, this Christmas movie was a success and followed by Prancer Returns, a video sequel which was released in 2001. So be sure to watch this family film on Christmas eve.
